IILM University, or in its full name Institute of Integrated Learning in Management University, is a private university located in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It was established on 6 April 2018 under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2018, after the Bill was approved by the Haryana Legislative Assembly in March 2018.

About the Competition
IILM Law School is organizing a Constitutional Law Blog Writing Competition on the occasion of Constitution Day to commemorate a significant event in the country’s history. On this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect on January 26, 1950, marking the birth of the Republic of India.
November 26th was chosen as Constitution Day to honour the contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. Participants can express their thoughts through their writings to create a meaningful and informative celebration of Constitution Day while engaging with the Constitution’s principles and ideals.
Themes
Themes for the blog entries for the competition will focus on Indian Constitutional law in the following areas:
- Digital Rights and Constitution.
- Gender Equality under Indian Constitution
- Judicial Governance and Judicial Activism
General Guidelines
- Co-authorship is limited to a maximum of two authors.
- All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, and spacing 1.5.
- The word limit for all submissions is between 800 – 1500 words. This stipulation is, however, flexible at the editor’s discretion in exceptional cases.
- The citation format used for the endnotes must be uniform, preferably the latest edition of the Bluebook.
- All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
- The submissions must be original, unpublished, and an outcome of the author’s own efforts. Any submission to the IILM Blog automatically includes a declaration to the effect of “ The article is an original work of author(s). I(We) certify that my (our) submission is (original), has not been published elsewhere, and is not under review or consideration elsewhere.
- Authors must acknowledge and give due reference to any source. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and articles found to be plagiarized will not be considered for publication. Moreover, submissions having a similarity index of over 10% would be rejected on technical grounds.
- On submission, authors shall be deemed to have divested the copyright to CRPP.
- For Indian case law, the authors may provide links to the case, if available, at https://indiankanoon.org/, or the website of the relevant court.
- Factual assertions must be supported with appropriate links to sources.
- The body of the email must contain a short bio of the author(s) and the name of the institution that they are affiliated with. The email must include a paragraph or two, succinctly summarising the manuscript submitted.
How to Submit?
Please mail all your submissions to crpp@iilm.edu with the subject Blog Submission: “Title”, only in a Microsoft Office Word-compatible format (.doc or .docx), PDFs will not be accepted. There must be no hint, whatsoever, of the author’s identity in the word document submitted.
