Call for Blogs: Alliance Centre for IPR E-Bulletin (No Fee) [Vol 3, Issue 1]: Submit by April 30

The Alliance Centre for Intellectual Property Rights is inviting blog articles for its E-Bulletin bearing Volume 3, Issue 1.

About the Organiser

Alliance Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (ACIPR) is established with the aim to evolve as a centre of excellence in IPR Research and Innovation. It intends to engage academicians, jurists, research scholars, and practitioners in research and training for the promotion and protection of IP rights.

The Centre is an initiative of Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru for making an active contribution to the development & promotion of all forms of IP rights. It aims to give special emphasis on fostering research & development in the unexplored areas of the IP domain.

About the Blog

The ACIPR E-Bulletin represents a flagship initiative of the organization, which publishes bi-annual newsletter bulletins covering prevalent themes.

Theme

ACIPR is now accepting submissions for Volume 3 Issue 1 of its E-Bulletin revolving around the central theme of “Impact of Evolving Disruptive Technologies on IPRs”. Please ensure that the articles fall under one of the following categories:

1. News Articles
2. Global Development
3. Case briefs

Sub-Themes

Sub-themes may include:

a. Blockchain and IPRs
b. AI and intellectual property: ChatGPT
c. IoT and IPR challenges
d. Augmented reality/virtual reality and IPRs
e. New business models
f. Open-source software
g. Emerging copyright issues

The above list is not exhaustive in nature.

Who is it for?

Applications are invited from practitioners, academicians, journalists, students of any discipline, or anyone who is interested in intellectual property rights.

Submission Procedure

1. The blog article should be between 350-500 words. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make changes to these conditions and guidelines mentioned herein.
2. The maximum co-authorship for a paper is limited to two.
3. Submissions shall be typewritten in MS Word, Times New Roman font size 12 with line spacing 1.5 and justified alignment
4. All the blog articles should be submitted with a cover page with the following information: Name, Institutional Affiliation, Correspondence Address, E-Mail ID and Phone Number.
5. The authors should conform to the Bluebook (20th edition) Uniform System of Citation. References shall be typewritten in, Times New Roman, font size 10, single-line spacing, and justified alignment.
6. The submission must be the original work of the authors. Plagiarism beyond 10% shall not be accepted.
7. School of Law, Alliance University shall be the sole copyright owner of all the published materials.
8. All contributions should be submitted to the Email of ACIPR: acipr@alliance.edu.in

Fee Details

Alliance School of Law shall not charge any publication fee.
