About Project ICSSR

Project ICSSR is a research initiative funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research. It aims to assess the impact of social security schemes for unorganized workers in Karnataka, focusing on the Asha Deepa scheme and Karnataka Private Commercial Accident benefit scheme. The project seeks to identify implementation issues, assess the status of beneficiaries, and propose targeted recommendations for improvement.

About Project Nyay

Project Nyay, led by Pawan SS and Kamal Adithya, provides accessible and complimentary legal education to students and marginalized communities. It covers various legal domains in both English and regional languages.

Project Nyay has been recognized for its impact, including winning the Baazigar event at DPS, Christ (Deemed to be University), and being featured in the United Nations Academic Impact under the Millennium Campus Network.

Call for Papers

We invite research papers from practitioners, academicians, experts, scholars, NGOs, researchers, and students on issues related to the conference themes. Selected authors will present their papers at the conference.

  • Intersectionality in the effectiveness of social security schemes
  • Ratification of international conventions for unorganized workers’ social security

Eligibility

Research papers are invited from practitioners, academicians, experts, scholars, NGOs, researchers, and students.

Submission Categories

Participants may submit research papers, and the selected papers will be published in an edited book with an ISBN number.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.5 (text); Times New Roman, size 10, line spacing 1.0 (footnotes)
  • Margins: One inch on all sides
  • Citation Style: Blue Book, 21st edition
  • File Format: Both PDF and Word

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: Maximum 300 words, accompanied by a cover page with sub-theme, title, author(s) name, institution, email, contact number, and postal address.
  • File Naming: Theme number and author’s full name (e.g., Theme 1 Rose Zarah)
