Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university situated in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India. The university was established in 2005 and started operation in 2006.

About School of Law, LPU

School of Law, LPU was established in 2014. It offers integrated 5 year BA LLB and BBA LLB courses, 3 years LLB program, one-year LLM course with different specializations and one year regular and part-time Ph.D. study programs.

About the Conference

Persecution, injustice, and abuse continue to plague the modern civilization. Building effective, accountable, and Inclusive Institutions at all levels is imperative to promote peaceful, just and inclusive societies for sustainable development. Every democratic society also needs compassion, a solid moral compass and commitment to ensure peace everywhere.

The School of Law, Lovely Professional University Punjab, India, is organizing a One-day International Virtual Conference on Revitalizing Social Institutions For Peace, Justice, And Environmental Protection on April 16, 2022.

The conference aims to bring together leading academicians, students, research scholars, advocates, Judges, NGOs, journalists and social activists to exchange ideas and share their experiences and research results on an interdisciplinary platform. The learning objectives of the conference are:

Eligibility

SOL LPU invites Academicians, Research Scholars, Students, Practitioners, external faculty, Non-Academicians, both Indians and foreign nationals to participate in the conference.

Registration Details

  • Practitioners/Non-Academicians/ External Faculty /LPU Faculty: INR 500
  • Research scholars Students: INR 300
  • International Participants: US$ 20  

Submission Guidelines

  • Authors are requested to submit their abstract through e-mail on sol.lpu.2022conference@gmail.com in Microsoft Word format.
  • Abstract, not exceeding 250 words, should be typed in Times New Roman (font size 12), line space-1.5. 
  • Co-authorship is allowed, however there can be only one co-author In a research paper and the participation fee for co-authorship shall be applicable separately. 
  • Give complete affiliation of the authors.
  • After receiving the abstract, an acknowledgment will be sent to the author with the reference number. This number should always be quoted while making further inquiries about Its publication. 
  • The authors are advised to follow 21st edition of Bluebook Footnoting.

Publication Opportunity

  • Selected research papers will be published in Scopus Indexed journal/UGC Care List/Book Chapter. Additional nominal charges will be applicable for the publication.
  • Submitted articles will be peer-reviewed and screened for plagiarism before final acceptance.
  • The authors will be given additional time for final submission of publication.

  • Full paper submission: April 10, 2022
