Representing the Kerala government, Venugopal submitted that Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has held up State bills for as long as two years.
“After this plea was filed, media reported that Governor says ‘we will fight it in Supreme Court,'” Venugopal added.
A bench led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud replied that the Court would hear the matter on Friday once the plea is filed.
“Okay then if this is filed, then it will come up on Friday,” CJI Chandrachud said.
