About IIM Rohtak
IIM Rohtak today is placed as the most progressive and breakthrough management institution in the country. Established in 2009 by the Ministry of Education, IIM Rohtak is an institute of National Importance. It is amongst the country’s top management institutes and the only IIM in the Delhi-NCR region. The institute is ranked 8th among public management institutions in India for the second time in a row as per Outlook India Ranking 2022.
Law at IIM Rohtak
After years of imparting quality education to post-graduate, fellow students, and working professionals in the field of management, the institute in the twelfth year of its foundation ventured into a new domain of management education with a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Law (BBA LLB Program) in 2021. IIM Rohtak is the first and only IIM to introduce a program in the cross-functional domain of management & law. This program is a unique opportunity for students who have passed out of class XII and aim to pursue their careers in corporate law.
The interdisciplinary program aims at providing an in-depth knowledge of business management with intricate details of law and governance. This program will create an opportunity for the students to pursue global legal education through a curriculum and pedagogy that best reflects the study of international law, comparative law, foreign law, and domestic law. Students will also undergo courses in the domain of Business Management, International Affairs, Humanities, Public Policy, and Foreign Languages. The program is also approved by the Bar Council of India.
Upon successfully completing academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded an Integrated Degree of BBA-LLB. Overall, the program consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. The curriculum consists of Business Management and Legal Education courses. The faculty at IIM Rohtak comes from the best management and law educational institutions in India and Abroad.
Institute also encourages teaching by the visiting faculties and industry experts from across the globe to provide a more holistic learning experience to the students. Students of this program also undergo several internships, moot court exercises, seminars, and other activities during the course of the program.

Though the program is non-residential, the institute provides hostel facilities to the students at bare minimum charges on a request basis. The state-of-the-art campus at Rohtak is spread over 200 acres with all modern amenities, smart classrooms, a sports complex, and furnished accommodation facilities for the students. The institute is further coming up with another state-of-the-art campus at Gurugram that will host integrated programs including IPL in the coming future.
IPL Batch 2022-27
The registrations for admission to the second batch of the IPL program have started. The institute will consider the CLAT 2022 score for the shortlisting of the candidates. It is mandatory for all interested candidates to register for the IPL program before the deadline on the IIM Rohtak website. The final merit list for the admission to IPL program at IIM Rohtak will be based on CLAT score, Personal Interview score, and Past Academics. The last date to register for the program is 15th May 2022.
