First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression

This was my first internship ever. in the field of law. On the first day, a Whatsapp group was created by the team members. We waited for a day for all the members to join.

Then all the guidelines regarding internship were briefed to us. It included how to write articles, and reading guidelines before submitting the proposed content. We were given a list of topics free to choose from, under various heads.

Main Tasks

My major role was to work in the legal research and content writing department. The legal research included working on various laws such as drafting from CPC, Cyber Laws, IPC, Jurisprudence etc.

We were responsible to submit a minimum of 8 articles in the combination to be achieved possible of sections:

  1. How To? – 2
  2. Column – 2
  3. Legislative Reviews – 2
  4. Case Review – 1
  5. Internship Experience -1

I submitted 2 columns namely:

  1. Return of Plaint and Rejection of Plaint
  2. The Rise of Cyber Frauds in COVID-19

1 internship experience at Curious For Law and all other sections within the stipulated time. The due dates were followed strictly.

Work Environment

The team of Curious For Law was a pleasure to work with. They maintain a friendly atmosphere while interacting with the interns. The presence of seniors is at ease and the content published in simple English language attracts more readers towards Curious For Law. All the members were very supportive and guided us from time to time.

All the queries and doubts were solved by them anytime we asked. They also organized various informative webinars and sessions of eminent legal professionals like criminal advocate Mr Pramod Kumar Dubey, Avinash Menon Advocate on Record (Supreme Court of India) and many more so that the interns get benefitted.

Good things

The internship provides professional assistance in the future whenever needed after its completion. The highlight is three of the interns are provided with a mandatory internship at good law offices depending upon the nature of work and diligence in completing all the tasks.

Stipend

There is no stipend for a one-month internship but a virtual internship certificate is given.

Overall Experience

It was my first internship and truly the best internship so far. With lots of learning experiences, I learnt to be more punctual, to be more serious about my work and work hard. My internship at curious for law increased my knowledge regarding various fields.

I wish I get another chance to work with them. I
strongly recommend this internship to prospective interns to explore much more about law and life too.
