The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission of India is a quasi-judicial commission in India which was set up in 1988 under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. Its head office is in New Delhi. The commission is headed by a sitting or retired judge of the Supreme Court of India.

About the Opportunity

National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission invites application for the post of Deputy Registrar via composite method (Deputation/promotion) from the officers under the Central Government or the State Government or autonomous bodies or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or the Supreme Court or High Courts.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
  • With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the level-11 (67700-208700) in pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
  • Possessing a Degree in Law from a recognized University.

Salary

Level-12 (Rs. 78800-209200)
