About the Opportunity
This is a full-time job opportunity based in Mumbai. The work would mailnly includes dealing with matters pertaining to Infringement of Intellectual Property.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Registration of National / International registrations and prosecutions of IP’s including Trade Marks, Copyrights, Patents and Designs.
- Providing advisory work including search opinions pertaining to conception of trademarks, IP Markings, Non-Infringement Analysis, Opinion with respect to Legal Metrology Act and Rules.
- Liaising with Indian & Foreign Attorneys for Registration and Prosecution IP’s including Trade Marks, Copyrights, Patents and Designs.
- Management and protection of IP assets of the organisation.
- Dealing with matters pertaining to Infringement of Intellectual Property.
- Liaising with Lawyers/ Law firms for IP Infringement Civil Actions such as suits for infringement & passing off; and/ or Criminal Actions such as raids.
- Conducting raid and seizure of the counterfeit goods at a national level/ pan India.
Eligibility
- Applicant should be an LLB from a reputed law school.
- Applicant should have at-least five years of experience working as an intellectual property counsel, either in-house or with a law firm.
- Applicant should have great communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Only Candidates based out of Mumbai or willing to relocate apply.
