About the Opportunity

JP Morgan & Co. is inviting applications for the post of Legal Entity Control at Associate level at its Bangalore office.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Compliance with various Critical Regulator across Asia Pacific i.e. RBI, HKMA, MAS, APRA etc. Daily/Weekly monitoring of Ratios Like Capital Adequacy Ratio, Liquidity ratios, FX ratios and Large exposures.
  • Weekly reporting of Financial Statement on selected Balance Sheet item / Liquidity reporting. Fortnightly reporting of Capital Adequacy Reporting, CRR & SLR requirement as per RBI.
  • Monthly Capital Adequacy reporting, P&L, Balance Sheet Reporting. Quarterly P&L, Balance Sheet bifurcated into Onshore / Offshore ratio-based reporting. Quarterly Capital Adequacy Reporting. Survey based reporting to the Local govt Stat Department like survey on PL items, on external Liabilities or BS position split into onshore and offshore buckets.
  • Review & Ownership of all above activities managed by the team. Maintain and develop relationship with onshore partners and business. Implement internal controls policies and procedures to mitigate financial and business risks.
  • Migrating to Strategic data sourcing platforms. Evolve the relationship with onshore teams & Business.
  • Review, Drive & Implement strategic priorities, projects & initiatives. Drive the Strategic conversation for various undergoing projects and system implementation & Finance Transformation projects.
  • Ability to handle a team to take complete ownership of the deliverables and stakeholder management. Ability to manage & prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines. Strong Team Player & able to take up additional responsibility with complete ownership.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or Equivalent Finance Degree or a subject of a technical nature.
  • Ability to develop team members. Self-starter, able to prioritize key tasks & manage deliverables effectively.
  • 4-6 years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or information.
