About the Opportunity
This research aims at a comprehensive assessment of the impact of Information Technology (Intermediary
Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (hereinafter referred as Intermediaries Guidelines of 2021) on Social Intermediaries for data protection in India, focusing on their socio-economic impact.
With the rapid advancements in digital technologies and the consequent proliferation of data-driven systems, robust measures to protect personal data and privacy have become imperative. In response, the Government of India has made amendments in law to regulate data protection and localization practices.

- Essential Requirement
- Post graduate in social science/Law discipline (55% minimum) with NET /M.Phil/ Ph.D
- Desirable Requirement
- Ph.D in Relevant Area
- Previous Work Experience of more than 1 year in Similar Area
