Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) is a statutory body functioning under the provisions of the Electricity Act, of 2003. The Commission is discharging its functions under Section 86 of the Act which includes the determination of electricity tariffs, regulating power purchase and procurement process, granting of licenses and adjudicating upon disputes.
