The Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL) at National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is inviting applications for the position of researcher for a duration of three months.
About CTCL, NLU, Delhi
The Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (“CTCL”) is a constituent unit and specialized research center of the National Law University Delhi established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 of Delhi. Since its establishment in 2016, CTCL has actively undertaken various initiatives to promote research and scholarship in the area of commercial laws.
CTCL envisages being a center of excellence in private and government transnational commercial law reform, advice, and policy evaluation, to conduct research, and provide consultative services to Governments, Institutions, and Organizations, dedicated to the development of Transnational Commercial Law and Policy. It is currently engaged in a short-term project related to ‘Insolvency Resolution of Real-Estate Companies’.
About the Opportunity
CTCL is looking for a Researcher to assist with real estate insolvency cases. Further, the researcher is expected to deliver work that may arise in relation to the project including field survey and empirical analysis.

- Field survey and empirical analysis.
- Research on real estate insolvency cases.
Eligibility Criteria
- Possess a five-year/three-year LL.B. degree;
- Experience in insolvency law will be preferred;
- Demonstrate good research skills;
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills; and good knowledge of MS Office and online platforms.
Honorarium
Consolidated amount of Rs. 25,000/- (for the duration of 3 months).
