Kerala High Court to launch IT case management system for family courts, vigilance courts

The IT initiatives which are all set to be launched are:

Machine delivery of Online Certified Copy

A certified copy of a Court document, as per the request of the applicant is issued on line instantaneously through this process. The applicant login to the High Court site, the application guides him/her to select the document needed and provides a preview.

On confirming, payment can be made on line and the document is delivered to the applicant real time, capable to be downloaded. Through adopting this method, long wait for a copy application is a thing of the past, and is a great service to the public.

E-Post

The High Court is in the process of developing an end-to-end solution for the development of a program for service of summons, notices and other documents of the High Court through digital mode. For this, the Department of Posts have come up with a solution which integrates e-post and speed post services.

Application for Intra – Appeal/Revision

The system is designed to simplify and streamline the appeal filing process, making it quicker and more efficient for lawyers and litigants. Under the new system, e-filers can file an appeal within minutes without having to scan their existing case bundle.

IT training hall

As a result of the e-Governance and technical modernisation initiatives being undertaken by the High Court, it has become imperative to impart timely technical/functional training for the Staff of the Judiciary.

Taking this into consideration, steps for setting up a state-of-the-art IT training hall was initiated during the year 2021-2022, with an initial budget of ₹30 lakh. Another ₹30 lakh was sanctioned in 2022-2023. The proposed training hall is fully networked and envisages state-of-the-art interactive displays, all-in-one PCs for the trainees, facility for video conference and digital conference systems.

Online RTI portal

This application is developed by NIC High court unit for automating the existing physical flow of handling RTI applications. E payment facility is integrated from the user end for making the payment via online. The flow of the application is through dedicated dashboards.
