The Court noted that the counsel for the children had not filed Vakalatnama on their behalf.
Hence, it chose not to proceed further with the matter but chose to stay the proceedings before the trial court.
“After hearing of this case for more than 15 minutes, Shri Shailendra Dixit submits that he has not filed Vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent no.2. Had he disclosed the same in the beginning, this Court would not have heard this matter for more than 15 minutes,” the Court noted.
It, therefore, adjourned the case while staying the proceedings before the trial court.
