The Court was hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) petition filed by residents of Mumbai suburbs claiming that the developer was encroaching on land which was reserved for playground.
In view of this, the Court had directed appointment of an independent architect to examine the exact extent of vacant land available excluding the portion on which construction was already carried out.
The report was submitted before the Court today. However, due to paucity of time, the case was adjourned to September 20.
