During the hearing of the appeal today before Justice Bharati Dangre, Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh, appearing for ED, contended that the observations of the special court were having an adverse impact on their other cases.
“The order has observations which are having adverse impact on various cases. The observations are uncalled for from the special judge,” the ASG stated asking the High Court to grant urgent hearing.
“There are many orders which have such adverse impact,” the Court said in response.
The matter was eventually posted for hearing on November 25 after the ASG told the Court that ED will make amendments to the petition
The counsel for Raut and co-accused Pravin Raut sought time to respond to the amended petition by the ED which was allowed.
