The applicant claimed that he was innocent and was falsely implicated as he was neither named in the First Information Report (FIR) nor was he arrested on the spot.
He told the court that he and five others had been arrested after cow slaughter equipment was recovered from them.
Additionally, it was stated that two co-accused were already granted bail by the High Court in September. Further reasoning that the applicant had been in jail since July and he did not have criminal history, he sought release on bail while assuring that he would not misuse the liberty.
