Nehru Academy of Law is organizing a National Seminar on New Labour Codes and its impact on Migrant Labourers to be held on December 16 and 17, 2022.

About the Seminar

Nehru Academy of Law is organising a Two Day National Seminar on New Labour Codes and its Effect on Migrant Workers in Hybrid Mode ( Offline & Online).

The Seminar aims at exploring the concerns associated with the central theme in the light of recent four codes enacted by the Parliament of India viz. The Industrial Relations Code 2020, The code on Social Security 2020, The Occupational Safety, Health and Working conditions code 2020, The Code of Wages 2019.

Nehru Academy of Law invites original, unpublished manuscripts in the form of quality research papers or articles along with an abstract.

Note: The above-mentioned topics are not exhaustive; Authors are open to work any other topics can also be accommodated if it is in the tune with Central theme of the seminar.

Submission Guidelines 

  • Abstract : An abstract of 250 Words.
  • Word limit for Full Paper: 2500 excluding footnotes.
  • Every Submission should be in MS Word, doc. Or docx. Format in A4 Layout.
  • The Titles should be in Times New Roman, font size 14.
  • The Body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font size 12, 1.5 line spacing , justified.
  • The footnotes shall be in Times New Roman, font size 10, line spacing 1. Any uniform method for citation should be used. Speaking footnotes and endnotes are discouraged.
  • The Papers shall be screened by a Committee. The Full Papers approved by the Committee shall be accepted for presentation in the Seminar. The intimation of selection will be made through your registered E-mail.
  • The final paper should contain a cover page which includes Name, Designation, Relevant Discipline and Year of Study, Address, E-mail id and Contact number.
  • Abstracts and papers should be written in English, and the working language of the Seminar will be English, and presentations shall be done in English.
  • Submissions should be made by the author who will attend the Seminar.
  • Co-Authorship is allowed but limited to one Co-Author only.
  • Only one paper per participant will be permitted.
  • The papers must be the original work of the author(s). No part of the paper should have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for publication. Any form of Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

Abstract and Full papers can be submitted through email at nalnationalseminar[at]gmail.com with subject line “Abstract Submission” and “Paper Submission” respectively within the time frame mentioned below.

  • For professionals : INR. 1000 (Single Author) and INR 1500 (for co-authorship)
  • Research Scholars : INR. 800 (Single Author) and INR 1000 ( for Co-Authorship)
  • Academicians : INR. 600 ( Single Author) and INR 750 ( for Co- authorship)
  • Students : INR. 400 (single Author) and INR 500 ( for co authorship)
