About the Opportunity
Aequiitas Legalisis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Intern to provide assistance to our Advocates in all aspects of the legal practice. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Advocates in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
- Manage and organize case files, including electronic and paper documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support Advocates in case preparation.
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
- Assist in court filings of various Petitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility
- The candidate should be a student enrolled in a 3-year LLB course or a 5-year Hons. course.
- The candidate should have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- The candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The candidate should have a professional demeanor and the ability to work as part of a team.
