Cannes Lions announced new shortlists in six Lions categories. Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and VMLY&R book shortlists.
Cannes Lions has announced shortlists across Creative Business Transformation Lions, Creative Effectiveness Lions, Creative Strategy Lions, Film Lions and Mobile Lions on Day 2.
Here is the list of all the entries from India that made it to the shortlist.
Creative Business Transformation
India has bagged three shortlists in this category. VMLY&R secured two for Suvidha Centre – a Unilever campaign. The remaining one was bagged by Leo Burnett for Lay’s ‘Smart Farm’.
Creative Effectiveness
A total of four shortlists are bagged by India in this category. Ogilvy’s ‘Shah Rukh Khan – My Ad’ for the Cadbury Celebrations campaign has booked three places. Leo Burnett’s ‘The Missing Chapter’ for Whisper secured one shortlist as well.

Creative Strategy
Leo Burnett’s ‘The Missing Chapter’ for Whisper has booked two shortlists from India in this category.
Film
L & K Saatchi & Saatchi’s two entries, Restaurant and Airport ads for Zepto have secured shortlists in the film category. Enormous Brands’ Robbery campaign for Asahi has booked a place as well.
Mobile
Fiama’s ‘talking memes’ campaign by Brand David Communications/ Ogilvy Mumbai’s landed a single shortlist in this category from India.
Apart from these five categories, India has no shortlists in the Creative Commerce Lions category.
