Mark Zuckerberg announces that with WhatsApp’s new feature, users can now send photos in HD quality.
Users now have the option to share photos of their special moments with loved ones in higher resolution, all while protected by WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption. WhatsApp has updated a new feature enhancing the experience of sharing pictures. Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the feature through a video on his Facebook page.
Users can access this feature by selecting a message and ‘forward’ action.

WhatsApp, however, still has the Standard Quality as the default for photos to make sure the sharing retains it’s fast pace, the user can update photos in higher resolution. If a user receives a photo while in low bandwidth connectivity, they can choose certain pics to be updated in higher resolution.
