Call for Blog: Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy and Research for Environmental Law (CELAR) Blog: Submission on Rolling Basis

The Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy, and Research (CELAR), at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) is pleased to announce the launch of its Blog for environment-related issues.

About NLUJAA

The Government of Assam established the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) in 2009. NLUJAA promotes and makes modern legal education and research facilities available to students and scholars drawn from across the country, including the North East, from different socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.

About CELAR

The Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy and Research (CELAR), the first of its kind in North-East India, is devoted to strengthening and contributing to the jurisprudence on environmental law, under the auspices of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam. CELAR endeavours to be a torchbearer of NLUJAA’s mission to translate legal knowledge and skills into an instrument that addresses various environmental concerns of the country and especially the North-Eastern region of India.

CELAR Blog is a platform initiated by the Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy and Research. The blog serves as a dynamic hub for disseminating insights and analyses on contemporary issues within environmental law and its interconnected domains. The blog aims to foster a community dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. It strives to educate, inspire, and engage our readers in meaningful conversations about the pressing issues facing our planet today.

Note: Please note that these are only suggestions, and authors are not required to limit themselves as long as their topic falls within the scope outlined for the CELAR blog.

Submission Guidelines

  • Co-authorship of up to (2) authors is allowed.
  • Submitted works must be original creations of the contributor.
  • Articles should be between 1200 and 1500 words long and include a short abstract of up to 50 to 100 words.
  • The abstract should only be submitted through the submission form and not included in the main article. Longer articles may be considered for publication on a case-by-case basis with the permission of the editor.

Formatting Guidelines

  • The submissions must be in an MS Word document formatted using Times New Roman font size 12 and line spacing 1.5.
  • The file name must be “Title_CELAR Blog”. The short title must capture the essence of the submission and not be longer than ten words.
