First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, and First Impression
We were asked about our credentials (Aadhar Card & 2 Professional Photographs). The infrastructure is also sanitised, comfortable, and spacious. Everyone at the firm is so friendly that it never feels overburdened with anything.
The internship feels like a mentorship programme where every mentor is equally supportive and teaches all the details of our tasks. The easy-to-approach principle creates a suitable ambience for any intern.
Main Tasks
One can opt for a variety of tasks according to one’s understanding, learning, and capabilities. Interns can ask for functions in a specific law sector; otherwise, the associates allot tasks, including mainly legal issues-specific research, drafting pleadings or writs, analysing legal documents (such as agreements), etc.
Enough research work is always available for all the interns, so there is no worry about sitting idle.
Work Environment
The ambience and work environment are the best things about this firm. All the associates, including the seniors, are very friendly and act as perfect mentors.
I have had the opportunity to work with most of the associates and have never felt any difference.
Good Things about the Internship
- The work environment.
- The practical experience like drafting.
- Opportunities to attend court hearings physically with the associates, witnessing them arguing.
- The Ideal Location is near the metro station (Vasant Vihar Metro)
- Interns also get optional coffee or tea services (Two times a day), with a few optional snacks (namkeens).
- Various reference books and WIFI services.
- Weekend Holiday (Sunday Only)
- Liberty of wearing Casual Outfits on Saturday.
Bad Things about the Internship
Only one or two eateries are nearby, and the food quality is not entirely appropriate. It is suggested that you bring your own food.
Monthly Stipend
No stipend
Details about the Accommodation, Commuting to the Office
For accommodation, one is on his own. The firm’s location is within walking distance from the nearby metro stations. The primary location to reside would be PGs in NCR areas.
One can easily locate it online, but if you live in hostels or otherwise in Greater Noida, it is nearly two hours of travel both ways, as in my case.
Anything Else You Want to Share?
We have enough time to relax, too. Our Lunch breaks were of our choice, and we were indeed allowed to roam around for a bit (not just wandering far away without informing).
The associates also never burdened us all the time. If we are consistent with our work, we are given breaks to avoid exhaustion.
I have learned much about drafting, pleadings, procedural laws, court mannerisms, and much more.
