This was revealed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud today, the last working day of Justice Bose.
“Justice Bose is retiring from the Supreme Court. The unanimous vote of judges was Justice Bose should head the National judicial academy Bhopal and he has agreed to take up the role,” the CJI said while heading the ceremonial bench also comprising Justice Bose.
Justice Bose is a man of many parts. He is equitable, gentle, compassionate and has the unending desire to do justice to the last person on the line, the CJI added.
“Yesterday he donned a suit for the dinner otherwise we are always amazed by his sartorial elegance, personal tragedies has never come in the way of his judicial work. The institution supports each other. We have become great friends and it was an honour to serve a court in which you were a judge,” the CJI recounted his experience with Justice Bose.
