A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora observed that it is for the State to recover the money and the Court cannot pass any directions on the petition.
The Court added that the IPL brings taxes and other revenue for the State.
“IPL brings huge amounts of taxes… The State is very much capable of recovering the money. It is up to them. Who are we to intervene in this,” the Court demanded.
