When the counsel for State of Uttar Pradesh persisted that the pensioner in this case was employed on ad-hoc basis and there were errors in the decision of the Allahabad High Court allowing pension, Justice Oka retorted that somebody who has worked for many years is entitled to pension.
“Supreme Court is not there for such matters. Somebody who has worked for so many years, he is entitled to pension,” he said before dismissing the appeal.
