Plea before Delhi High Court alleges irregularities in Patent Officers exam conducted by NTA

Single-judge Justice Ravinder Dudeja adjourned the matter to July 3.

The present plea has been filed by 23 candidates who appeared for the exam.

The petitioners claimed there were discrepancies in the marking scheme for the exam, conducted in two phases of prelims and mains.

The errors were acknowledged but not corrected by the NTA, it was alleged.

The NTA accepted errors in the marking scheme of questions displayed on computer screens during Phase II of the mains exam, the plea highlighted.

The preliminary exam was held on December 21, 2023 while the mains was conducted on January 25, 2024 and February 5, 2024.

The interviews were held from April 1 to April 27.
