About

The AIAC ADR journal is an annual issue that will cover a wide range of contemporary issues through the field of ADR, including international and domestic arbitration, mediation, construction adjudication and domain name dispute resolution.

Theme

The journal accepts submissions relating to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) or any other themes relating to the practice, development, and enhancement of ADR from external contributors.

Who can submit?

The journal invites practitioners, academicians and jurists from the legal community to submit articles.

How to submit?

Kindly submit all manuscripts for submission in MS Word format to journal@aiac.world.

Submission Categories

  • Long Articles – papers focusing on detailed analysis of the surrounding legal scenario at the domestic and international levels and/or cross-jurisdictional analysis as well as suggested solutions through a reform-oriented research methodology.
  • Short Articles – papers focusing on analysis of contemporary legal issues from single or multiple legal perspectives, including, but not limited to, debatable and novel issues.
  • Case Analysis – papers focusing on a detailed analysis of judgements, including the submissions deliberated therein and a critical analysis and/or comparison thereof.

Submission Guidelines

  • Long Articles: 6000 words (minimum) to 10,000 words (maximum).
  • Short Articles: 3000 words (minimum) to 5000 words (maximum).
  • Case Analysis: 2000 words (minimum) to 4000 words (maximum).

All word limits are inclusive of footnotes, but exclusive of the Abstract, which shall be between 150-500 words. All submitted papers are expected to comply with the Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). All Submissions must necessarily contain an abstract of not more than 200 words. Articles must deal with issues of interest and must demonstrate a high-level of analysis; articles of a purely descriptive nature will not be considered for publication. Those which involve an update of developments in a country in the region, which may necessarily be of a descriptive nature, are acceptable.
