About the Opportunity

Orington & Partners is hiring legal interns for their Gurugram, India office to assist with various tasks including legal research, paperwork management, project support for the seniors, participation in client discussions, and gaining exposure to daily operations in the legal field.

This is a full-time on-site internship. You will be part of a dynamic team and will play a crucial role in supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assisting in drafting and editing contract templates.
  • Conducting client meetings and legal research as required, and supporting smaller projects as assigned by seniors.
  • Drafting, vetting and developing standard forms of contracts such as engagement letters, consulting agreements, NDA etc.
  • Organizing legal memoranda and client correspondence.
  • Creating retainer agreements, contact letters, and various client publications and handouts.
  • Conducting client intake and participating in client interactions.
  • Observing and participating in client meetings and discussions.
