About the Event
Legathon, an innovative initiative by Saveetha School of Law, is designed to address complex and unaddressed challenges within the legal industry. Legathon invites students (both law and non-law), professionals, and technologists to propose groundbreaking solutions, fostering talent and creativity.
This competition presents a unique opportunity for participants to showcase their problem-solving abilities and contribute to resolving contemporary Socio-legal issues in both private and public sectors. Participants not only have a chance to win awards for their creativity but also make a significant impact on the legal landscape.
Eligibility
For Students pursuing a UG Degree Only in any College/ University. Maximum of 2 members in a team. Solo participation is also encouraged.

Registration
Teams must register for the competition by completing the registration form in the brochure or Registering through the link given below. After registering, kindly join the participants’ group via the link in the forms.
Stages of Participation
It is mandatory for the Participants to participate in the below mentioned 2 Rounds.
- Round 1: Ideation Stage: Participants are required to identify any Social issue along with the cause and effect and present it with a solution.
- Note: PowerPoint Presentation (PPT)
- Round 2: Idea Validated Stage: For ideas with a ready proof of concept – Participants will be required to talk about a topic, relevant to Social problems which can be fixed by law.
- Duration: 3 – 5 minutes
- Note: Topic will be given on spot
Selection Criteria
Evaluation will be based on the novelty and clarity of the idea, feasibility, practicability, sustainability, and the idea’s potential impact on society.
