Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti invites the Institutional participation of Department of Legal Studies of the Leading Universities of the Country as Educational Partners for organizing 2 days mega National Event National Teacher’s Day Celebration on the theme “Prevention of Violence against women and role of the educational institutions for promoting the Legal Eduction in the Society”.
About us
Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti is a renowned NGO in the capital. Professor K.K. Aggrawal, Former VC of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and presently the President / Vice Chancellor of South Asia University, is the Chief Patron of the Samiti.
It is a matter of pride for us to work with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority. a body of Hon’ble Delhi High Court for the last 10 years and number of Hon’ble Judges from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Hon’ble Delhi High Court have graced our programme.
The Samiti continues to organize various awareness campaigns and conferences throughout the year on the burning issues of society, where dignitaries such as IPS and IAS officers, District Judges, and Eminent Educators impart awareness to attendees from different parts of the Country.

National Debate Competition on the Subject ” The cause of violence against Women is not the weak law, but the lack of awareness” for the university faculty and School Teachers. Ms Rekha Sharma, Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, has consented to be the Chief Guest and Sh. Ajay Chaudhary IPS, Special Commissioner of Police Delhi Police, will chair the Inaugural Session of the Competition.
Saturday, 31st August, 2024 Auditorium, NDMC Convention Centre, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi.
First Session: National Conference on ” Prevention of Violence against women and role of the educational institutions for promoting the Legal Education in the Society”. The Conference will be chaired by Hon’ble Justice Dr. Sangita Dhingra Sehgal, President, Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Delhi. Sh. Deependra Pathak IPS Special Commissioner of Police Delhi Police along with Vice Chancellors and Principals are invited as Hon’ble Guest Speakers.
Second Session: Award Session: Prize Distribution of National Debate Competition, Presentation of National Teacher’s Award ( Individual and Institutional both ), Presentation of Legal Awareness Awards etc. Prof. K.K. Aggrawal President/ Vice Chancellor South Asia University will chair the Award Session and Sh. Robin Hibu IPS Special Commissioner of Police Delhi Police will be the Guest of Honour in the Session.
How to Register the Legal Studies Department of the University as Educational Partner
The Department of the University will deposit Rs. 10,000/- in favour of the bank account of Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti to be part of the 2 days Programme as an Educational Partner . The Educational Partner will nominate two faculty members for the National Debate Competition and two faculty members for the National Teacher Award 2024 .
The Vice Chancellor of the University will receive the Institutional Award. These awards will be presented in the Award Session on 31st August, 2024 at Auditorium, NDMC Convention Centre, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi . The Hon’ble Justice of the Supreme Court or Delhi High Court will present the Awards in the august presence of Prof. K.K. Agarwal, President, South Asia University, New Delhi.

All the participants will be given a National-Level Certificate of the National Conference and National Debate Competition. The institution will receive an Institutional Award and a National-Level Certificate with a Memento.
