According to the investigation agency, an analysis of the phone call records of the prime accused behind the bomb blasts, Jagtar Singh Hawara, had revealed certain international mobile numbers.
Subsequently, after the bomb blasts in Paharganj, Sarojini Nagar and Govindpuri, it was revealed that these international numbers belonged to a person called Cheema Jeeta and one H S Gill, an absconder in the murder of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. It was also alleged that some persons, namely, Gurpreet Singh and Paramjeet Singh Bheora, were also in touch with these international numbers. Bheora and Hawara were reported to be the main leaders of the proscribed Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
