Jaipur, Jul 30 (PTI) A 20-year-old woman was allegedly raped and blackmailed by a man here, police said on Saturday.
The victim has lodged a complaint against one Netram Meena for raping, blackmailing and threatening to make her private pictures public, police said.
“A case been registered in the matter following a complaint lodged by the victim on Friday. The victim had come in contact with the man on Facebook two years ago,” Karni Vihar SHO Jai Singh said.
A case has been registered under IPC sections 376 (rape), 323 (causing hurt) and 383 (extortion).
The accused is being searched for, the police officer said. PTI AG RDT
