Onion & Tomato Raita
Raita makes a perfect side dish for any spicy veg biryani or non veg biryani.. I have quite a few raita recipes, starting from cucumber raita, spinach raita, beetroot raita, radish raita..I even have an onion raita but i wanted to share it will new pictures. Hence this new post..
Ingredients for Onion & Tomato Raita
- Homemade Curd / Yogurt – 2 cup
- Onion – 1 large peeled and chopped finely
- Tomato – 1 small chopped
- Green chillies – 1 chopped finely
- Coriander leaves – 3 tbsp chopped finely
- Salt to taste
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
How to make Onion & Tomato Raita
- Take onions in a bowl, add in salt, sugar and lemon juice in it and mix well using your hands. Massage it for 2 mins.
- Leave the onions to rest for 5 mins.
- Add in green chillies. tomatoes and coriander leaves and mix well.
- Add in curd and mix well.
- Serve with biryani..
