In order to tap into the joyful fervour of the festive season, Asian Paints created a touching film that embodies the brand’s iconic narrative ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai”.
The film, which was conceptualised by Ogilvy India, emphasises the joy-filled equity a home possesses while also spreading a heartfelt message about bringing families together. Asian Paints ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’ campaign has made a comeback this festive season following successful runs. This film brings alive the simple pleasures of family and the great joy of being around them.
The video illustrates the sentiment and significance that a home holds throughout the festive season via the touching story of a family. The film depicts a family gathering to celebrate Diwali in a newly painted home decorated with lights and diyas. It depicts that home is a loving sanctuary in which relationships grow and we discover happiness with our near and dear ones, and Diwali brings out that refreshing feel of family connections – an important part of this joyous festival. The video serves as a gentle reminder that now is the perfect time to decorate your own home in a similar manner.
The brand builds a beautiful narrative around ‘Mujhe toh saja diya, Aaj thoda khud bhi saj jao’, in a simple and wholesome manner.
Presenting the Diwali film, Amit Syngle, MD and CEO, Asian Paints Limited, said, “The purpose of this special Diwali film is to make people feel a strong emotional connect with their homes and how it becomes inspiring because of the people residing in it. The narrative is of happy exchanges and wholesome bonding that the festive season exudes to people. Piyush with his words and voice, both, once again has created a strong sense of belonging with the message of ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’. The film is armed with positivity and carries the Asian Paints leitmotif by capturing the importance of family bonding. It is more about filling a home with décor and colour that amplifies its meaning and feeling.”
The iconic Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai campaign, yet again eloquently captures the essence of family bonding and describes how festivals cast a joyous spell over homes.
