Elon Musk changes Twitter’s logo to Doge; brands react

As Elon Musk changes Twitter’s iconic logo, brands have come up with witty reactions to the revamp.

Elon Musk, the sole owner of Twitter, has fulfilled ‘the promise’ of changing the logo. The iconic Twitter bird has been changed to Doge.

Doge is a popular meme on social networks that includes a picture of a Shiba Inu dog named Kabosu and overlaid text in broken English. Dogecoin, based on this is the first cryptocurrency to be based on an Internet meme.

According to a report published by Reuters, Elon Musk asked a US judge to throw out a 258 Bn USD racketeering lawsuit accusing him of running a pyramid scheme to support the cryptocurrency Dogecoin. Allegedly, a series of Tweets by Musk points to a promotional direction that conceals risk, and manipulates investors. Although there has been no link to the two instances or any reports that connect the lawsuit and the changed logo.

The changed logo has also created a stir on Twitter, and #TwitterLogo is a conversation with over 14K Tweets, users and brands too have joined the conversation.
