1. Virtual Internship Opportunity at DPIIT-IPR Chair, CSRIPR, NUSRL Ranchi

This internship will revolve around one month and during the course of which students will be required to research nuances of Intellectual property law and other related fields in this realm. Interns will be required to select a topic for their case study on topics related to IPR before the commencement of their internship.

  • Eligibility: Applicants for this internship should be either pursuing their Under Graduate or Post Graduate Legal studies in a college/University recognized by Bar Council of India or any other institution of prominence within India or Abroad.

2. LLB Internship Programme 2024 in the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice 

Department of Justice (DoJ) organizes Intemship Programme for young law students for doing internship. The purpose of this Programme is to well acquaint young law students with the working of Department of Justice by giving training in the field of research & referencing work, in various specialized areas of justice delivery, such as Access to Justice (Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu, Legal Aid, probono Legal Services), e-Courts services, Fast Track Special Courts, National Mission for Justice Delivery & Legal Reforms and CSS for Development of lnfrastructure Facilities in the District and Subordinate Judiciary.

  • Eligibility: Indian students who have completed 2nd year of study and have written the examination to enter 3rd year or studying in the 3rd year of three-year degree course or the students studying in the 4th year who have written examination to enter 5th year or studying in the 5th year of five-year degree course.
  • Duration: Duration of intemship ordinarily remain for a period of one month (four weeks). Monthly internship shall start from 01.06.2024 onwards during the current financial year (FY 2024-25).
  • No. of Slots: The maximum number of interns to be allowed in a given monthly slots will be 10 candidates only subject to requirement of the Department. Orders of the Competent authority in this regard will be final.
  • Application: The students are advised to filI up the form online and upload all the documents prior to the last date. Students can submit their application through off-line mode and through e-mail at yadav.sanjay05@nic.in with the required documents.
  • Stipend: The interns shall be given an honorarium of Rs. 5000/- on completion of their internship.

3. Internship Opportunity at The Competition Commission of India (CCI)

Internship programme of CCI aims to equip students with practical working of competition law. As CCI has a very important role to play in economy being market regulator, students need to understand nuances and nitty-gritty of Competition Law for their future roles in various capacities. The internship programme of CCI attracts talents from best of Indian educational institutions located across the country.

  • Eligibility: Internship is open to students from recognized Institutions and Universities with exposure to Competition Law.
  • Application: Interested students may apply in the prescribed format given in Annexure. Application in any other format will not be entertained.
  • Stipend: An amount of Rs.15,000/- per month will be given as honorarium during the internship.
  • Duration: Internship is normally for a period of one month, commencing on the 1st working day of the month.

4. NHRC Online Short-term Internship Programme 2024

For the Month of February the “Online Short Term Internship Programme – August 2024 (OSTI- April, 2024)”. Applications are invited from eligible students of the entire country.

  • Eligibility: Applications are invited from eligible students of the entire country. Eligibility and selection criteria will be as follows:-
    • Students studying in 3rd year and onwards of an integrated 5 year PG course
    • Students studying in 3rd/final year of graduation course
    • Students of any semester/year of any post-graduate degree course
    • Students of any semester/year of any post-graduate diploma course
    • Students who are research scholars in any stream
  • Duration: The Internship will commence from 5th August to 16th August.

5. Internship Opportunity at DAKSH, India’s Leading Think-Tank & Research Institution, Bangalore

DAKSH is looking for a passionate research intern on a part-time basis to assist with research activities, data preparation, and related tasks. As a research intern, you will assist DAKSH with researching budgetary allocations to the judiciary to enhance the quality and allocation of funds from the Finance Commission to the judiciary using a scientific and data-driven approach.

  • Eligibility: We welcome applications from students in their final year of undergraduate studies or those pursuing postgraduate degrees.
  • Stipend: Rs. 5,000 per month.
