The Advanced Training Programme on “The Three New Criminal Laws-Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,2023 & Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam,2023” is a meticulously designed certificate course that equips participants with a profound understanding and operational knowledge of three critical legislative Acts recently assented to by the President of India.

About Course Instructor

Ms Dipshreeya Das is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU). Before joining GNLU, she served as a Research Fellow at the Prestigious National Institute Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration,Mussoorie. She was also actively involved with the National Centre for Law and Administration at LBSNAA and organized various workshops and training programmes for the Senior Civil Servants.

Prior to this, she has worked as an Assistant Professor of Law at AMITY University, Kolkata, ARKA Jain University, Jharkhand. She has a teaching and research experience of over three years in the area of criminal laws. She has been a resource person, chair and panellist in varied guest lectures, conferences and panel discussions.

She has already successfully completed four high level training programmes for the Police Department of Silvassa, Daman & Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli on Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita as a Resource Person.

Dipshreeya Das completed her undergraduate in law from J.B Law College, Gauhati University and her post-graduation from Tezpur University (A Central University) with Criminal Law Specialisation. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in the area of criminal law from Sikkim University (A Central University).
