The enquiry revealed that during his tenure (2006-2018) in the two tribunals, Singh acquired property worth ₹1,86,33,769. Singh’s income in that period was ₹2,70,54,279 while his expenditure was found to be ₹5,28,35,833.
Singh was found to be in possession of disproportionate assets to the tune of ₹4,44,15,323, which is 164% more than his income.
Singh’s wife allegedly actively abetted the offence of her husband by way of acquiring immovable properties in her name.
