About Commonwealth Institute for Justice Education and Research (CIJER)

The Commonwealth Institute for Justice Education and Research (CIJER) was established at Lloyd Law College in 2017, under the auspices of the Commonwealth Legal Education Association (CLEA) to initiate a dedicated research wing with an aim to contribute to legal reformations including international, regional and national policy formulations.

The CIJER has a team, which function under the patronage of senior faculty members who have international research and academic experience. The key objectives of CIJER are to undertake and implement justice education programs and projects, to create an effective platform for interdisciplinary education and research, and publish research journals, edited volumes on contemporary legal topics and so forth.

About the Conference

Aims at focusing on these global developments, issues and challenges in legal education by providing a starting point to initiate discussions broadly regarding the role of technology in augmenting legal education. Discussions would pertain to the following sub‐themes.

Other relevant topics pertaining to the teaching of law and developments in legal education in general across the globe and commonwealth universities and law schools, in particular, may also be encouraged for discussion.
