School of Law, NMIMS, Hyderabad established in 2018 by NMIMS University, one of the premier Deemed to be Universities in India, the programs offered in our law school has all qualities and niceties of the programs offered by world-class Universities over the world.

The school’s faculty members are well qualified and experienced with a wide range of quality legal publications and are also associated with social justice legal education. About the Conference

The Centre for Corporate Law & Governance, NMIMS School of Law, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Taxmann Publications, is organizing a one-day virtual conference on corporate & commercial law on 18th March 2023 that aims to bring together a diverse group of legal professionals, academics, students and experts to delve into the complexities of corporate and commercial law and discuss the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the fields of corporate and commercial law.

The conference provides a platform to exchange ideas, share best practices, and network with colleagues from across the country. t will provide a platform for the participants to explore avenues for research and analysis on the expanding domain of corporate governance and management. It will promote sharing and dissemination of viable ideas to ensure robust and significant output.

Aim and Objective

The aim of the conference is to initiate dialogue and develop greater insight and aptitude in the field of corporate and commercial laws. The Companies Act of 2013 and its most recent revisions, together with the linked regulatory changes, have ushered in a new age of Corporate Governance in India.

Thus, the objective of this national-level conference is to provide a platform for prolific thinkers across the country from academia and industry to come together and discuss recent changes in the corporate arena.

Guidelines for Registration and Submission

An abstract (About 350 words) should be submitted as an attachment in a word file. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed before they are accepted.

The selection of papers for presentation will be based on abstracts. An abstract must include a clear indication of the purpose of the research, methodology, major results, implications and key references.

The following information, in the given format, should be sent along with the abstract.

  • Name of the participant
  • Co-Author (If any)
  • Official designation/ Institution details: Address and Email ID
  • Title of abstract

Note-The submission of the abstract will be through the google link provided at the end of this post.

Perks and Opportunities

  • All the final submissions shall be subjected to blind peer review and plagiarism check, subsequent to which the selected papers will be considered for publication with Taxmann.
  • A Certificate of Presentation will be issued to all the Presenters.
  • One Year subscription of Taxmann will be given to 3 Best Paper Presenters, along with a Certificate of Appreciation.
