CfP: International Conference on Contemporary Developments in Arbitration, 2023 by Centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution, DY Patil School of Law [Navi Mumbai; Aug 10-11]: Register by July 31

DY Patil School of Law, Navi Mumbai, in association with LexisNexis, District Legal Service Authority, YOUNG MCIA (Mumbai Centre For International Arbitration), and APCAM (Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation), Knowledge Thrust, is organizing the International Conference on Contemporary Developments in Arbitration,2023 and is inviting paper for the same.

The CADR is a leading center for the study and practice of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). It offers a variety of programs and services, including training courses, mediation and arbitration services, and research and publications.

The CADR is committed to promoting the use of ADR as a fair, efficient, and cost-effective way to resolve disputes.

The Centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution (CADR) of DY Patil School of Law, Navi Mumbai, in association with LexisNexis, District Legal Service Authority, YOUNG MCIA (Mumbai Centre For International Arbitration), and APCAM (Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation), Knowledge Thrust, is organizing the International Conference on Contemporary Developments in Arbitration, 2023.

This annual event will bring together stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to discuss pertinent topics in the field of arbitration, such as:

  • Celebrating Women in Arbitration
  • Maritime Arbitration
  • Best Practices & Techniques for Conducting Arbitration

The conference will feature keynote addresses by leading experts in the field, as well as panel discussions and workshops. It will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest developments in arbitration, network with other professionals, and share ideas.

Eligibility

Papers are invited from teachers, researchers, professionals, students, and space law enthusiasts from all over the globe for presentation at this conference.

  • Procedural and Evidentiary Issues in Arbitration
  • Ethics & Diversity in Arbitration
  • Challenge and Enforcement Issues

  • Specialized Arbitration: Maritime, Sports, Investment, Air & Space, Arts, etc.

Perks

  • The top selected papers shall be published in an edited book as chapters.
  • All paper presenters will get a certificate of paper presentation.
  • The best presenter will get a certificate for the best paper presentation.
  • Full papers when submitted, if found suitable will be published.

Note: All participants will get a certificate.

Submission Guidelines

  • Only high-quality abstracts (up to 300 words) will be accepted for presentation.
  • Each presentation will be of 10 minutes.
  • The presentation must include topic, research questions, methods, utility and contribution of research, and tentative findings or suggestions.

Registration Fee

  • Registration for participation only (including meals): Rs.700
  • Registration for paper presentation (India): Rs. 1, 000  

(Limited merit-based scholarships are available.)

  • Communication of acceptance of abstract: 1st August 2023
  • Date of paper presentation: 10th & 11th August 2023
