About the IUS Law Journal
The IUS Law Journal (e-ISSN 2831-0039; p-ISSN 2831-0047) is a scholarly legal publication of the Faculty of Law at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).
It serves as a platform targeting largely legal scholars, legal practitioners, FLW students (specifically graduate students in the last leg of their studies), and non-lawyers. It is a robustly blind, open-access, peer-review journal published biannually in English, the language of instruction here at IUS.
The journal is designed to explore issues relating to Bosnian public and private laws along with lessons for other constitutional systems, irrespective of legal tradition (civil or common law) or democratic status (young or established), in a contemporary world marked by the migration of constitutional ideas.
About the Call for Papers
The IUS Law Journal is accepting submissions for its 3rd Issue of the Journal.
Themes
The journal covers topics from both private and public law, irrespective of legal tradition. Submitted manuscripts review scientific papers, book reviews, conference reports and reports from judicial practice.
Submission Guidelines
It welcomes original scientific papers that have not been published before and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere from academics, professionals and postgraduate and doctoral students.
Since double-blind peer review is being used within the publication process in this journal, all manuscripts should be anonymous. Therefore, the submission would mean uploading/sending two files:
1. Cover page with manuscript title, author’s information (name, surname, affiliation and contact), a brief biography (up to 3 sentences) and abstract.
2. The other file should be the manuscript, without information about the author/s.
The cover page is to be submitted separately.
Formatting Guidelines
– Manuscripts should be written in English and before submission, should be proofread by an English native speaker.
– Submitted files should be in Microsoft Word format. The file should not be locked and it should be anonymous (check the Properties of the file).
– Original and review scientific papers should not exceed more than 8 000 words (including abstract and list of references). All other types of submissions should not exceed 5000 words.
– Times New Roman, font 12, single space, 2.5 margins, justified, should be used.- Include page numbers.- APA style should be used.
– All tables should be added in text and should be named with an explanation (example: Table 1. Population Census in Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Submission Deadline
The submissions will be accepted until March 30, 2023.
