Guru Nanak Dev University was established on November 24, 1969, to mark the birth on the centenary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.

About the Seminar

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar popularly known as Babasaheb is the architect of the Constitution of India. The Constitution of India is built on the edifice of equality, liberty, and fraternity.

The Constitution of India embodies the vision of Dr. Ambedkar to build India in which all sections and communities are politically empowered, and socially, and economically awakened.

The Constitution of India is the manifestation of the ideals of Dr. Ambedkar in the sphere of religion, culture, and social and economic life of the citizens. Dr. Ambedkar is a pioneer in the movement of women’s empowerment, labor class, and marginalized sections of society.

The purpose of this National Seminar is to gather researchers and scholars from different parts of the country for discussion on “Dr. Ambedkar’s Economic Vision and Changing Contours of the Constitution of India”.

The Constitution of India is organic and living has adapted itself to the changes taking place in society. Against this background, the purpose is to revisit the vision of Dr. Ambedkar amidst the changes taking place at the national, cultural, political, social, and economic levels.

About Call for Papers

Contributions are invited from the Academicians, Professionals, Researchers, Advocates, Research Scholars, and Students from law and social sciences backgrounds on the mentioned theme/sub-themes of the seminar. Authors of selected abstracts shall be given an opportunity to present their paper during the National Seminar.

Eligibility

Academicians/Professionals and Students/Research scholars.

Submission Guidelines

  • The language of the paper should be English only.
  • The Abstract must contain the highlights of the full paper and should not exceed 250 words.
  • Author(s) Name(s), University/Organization, Paper Title, Email Address, and Mobile Number to be stated clearly on the cover page of the research paper.
  • Paper should not have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for publication. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Author(s) will be required to fill out the Registration Form and Declaration after the selection of their abstract.
  • Maximum Plagiarism of 10% is allowed.
  • The word limit for a research paper (inclusive of abstract) is between 3000 words (minimum) to 5000
  • Words (maximum). This word limit is inclusive of footnotes. The word limit must be strictly adhered to by the participants.
  • Co-authorship is allowed. However, there can be a maximum of two authors in one research paper.

Formatting Guidelines

  • The research paper’s text should be in MS Word Format (doc./docx.) with Times New Roman, Font Size 12, and Line Spacing of 1.5 on an A4 size paper.
  • The Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 with Single Spacing. End notes are not permissible.
  • MLA Handbook citation format shall be strictly followed.
  • One-inch margins on all sides should be maintained.
