How did you apply for the internship?
I mailed my CV and writeup to the mail address of the organisation.
There was no screening process and a thorough interview was conducted.
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
They conducted a basic orientation session to explain the intricacies and how they want their interns to submit the manuscripts.
Main Tasks
To research and write various manuscripts on socio legal and contemporary topics.
Work Environment
It was a good working experience overall and the work environment was really good and supportive.
Good Things
1. Good learning experience.
2. Guidance about the research work and various techniques involved.
3. Proper acknowledgement of our work.
Bad Things
1. They were a little lethargic in publishing our articles.
2. They asked for a per article cost to publish our articles.
Though, there were no such cost involved for publishing blogs.
Stipend
It was an unpaid internship.
Details about accommodation and commute
It was an online internship.
Anything else?
I learnt about the various research and writing methodologies.
They also taught us about various concepts like plagiarism and citations.
They also told us about various techniques to handle them constructively.
Overall it was a good working experience.
