First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
On my first day, I was given a brief about the nature of the work I was required to do and also the methods to do it. Everyone in the office was much disciplined, be it my co-interns or the Associates.
I worked at Pavan Duggal Associates for 2 months from June- August of 2021. Pavan Duggal Sir is an internationally renowned person in Cyber Law and an Indian Supreme Court lawyer with great achievements.
Main Tasks
The internship was a research-based internship where interns get to deal with topics related to different areas of cyber laws, like blockchain, information and communication technology, quantum computing, cybersecurity etc. Our main task was to conduct exhaustive research on various projects given to us.
The work which was assigned us to was required to be done in a specific amount of time, depending on the nature of the work. Irregularities in the submission of work were not accepted. The topics are very interesting, such as cyber security, autonomous cars, artificial intelligence etc.
We got approximately 3-4 assignments per week, with enough time to finish them. The associates are very kind and explain the topics in great detail and if you have any doubts, you can always ask. They also let you know if something is wrong with your work, and ask you to fix it.
Work Environment
The work environment of the firm is very conducive, and professional. The Associates were usually with their own work, yet they took out time to help us and guide us.
The constructive feedback received, motivated me to work harder and also improved my research skills. One of the best things about this internship was the regular review of the work, and the feedback provided.
