My Grandmother has introduced me to the book “An Autobiography of Yogi” at a very puerile age the strong and powerful Meditative practices of shri Swami Yogananda ji has helped me throughout my academic and Professional Journey which has taught me how to balance materialism and spirituality.

What are the current trends in the legal field that law students should be aware of?

Law Students must keep themselves updated and at par with all emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence. They must be aware how to utilize and bring into practice Artificial Intelligence tools. Now, I see emerging legal Entrepreneurs which has tried blending their own uniqueness.

They must also self-introspect their own attributes and try using it in career. One must also be a risk taker and keep on experimenting.

How do you see the field of law for students who are about to graduate?

Law field is now not limited to Judicial services examinations, APO or Corporate. In future we are going to observe many successful Legal entrepreneurs, International Exchange program of universities going to take place. The rote learning will in future be converted to pragmatic learning.

How can student make most of their time in law school?

The only advice which I want to give it to law students that they must follow make there own path. Don’t undergo any form of peer pressure. Always have significant amount of confidence on oneself. They must Read and write as much as they can.

They must also delve deeper into performing into various competitions such as Moot Court, Parliamentary debate, Judgement writing, Article writing, MUN etc.

By preparing themselves for these competitions they must also self-introspect about themselves that which domains they feel they have lacunas and which major and centric areas they need to focus upon. According to James Howell – “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.

Competitions play a quintessential role in making a Legal Professional and also gives you a sense of professionalism

What changes would you like to see in legal education system?

The changes which I wish to see in future is more punitive and stringent punishments in the field of Environmental Law, secondly delay in pendency of cases must be reduced. because such delays in cases highlighted the shortcomings of Indian legal system.

Lawctopus has also made seminars, Conferences and Symposium easily accessible and informative. It’s my go-to website /law-portal where every information I am willing to seek is available.

Any book which you want to suggest to law students, that can help them in their law journey?

Yes, I think there is a list of books that I would like to suggest to law students. Two of them that I highly recommend to law students to read once in their life are- Ten Judgements that Changed India”– Zia Mody, and “courtroom genius” Written by Nani Palkiwala.

I think these are the book that every law student must read. As we all know that the life of every law students is full millions of legal books. Last one thing that I want to say that if you opted yourself in this legal playground then you have to make friendship with library, books and situations.
