About the Role
KLE Technological University, Hubballi, is recruiting for various positions at its Centres for Legal Education, including KLE Law College, Bengaluru, and KLETech School of Legal Studies, Hubballi. The positions available are faculty roles in Law, Management, Commerce, History, Economics, Political Science, and English.
Additionally, the university is looking for candidates for the roles of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Placement Officer, Assistant Librarian, Mental Health Counsellor, and Director for the KLETech School of Legal Studies in Hubballi.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Faculty positions in Law, Management, Commerce, History, Economics, Political Science, and English involve responsibilities such as curriculum development, delivering lectures, guiding research, and mentoring students.
- The Placement Officer will be responsible for facilitating student internships and job placements.
- Assistant Librarian will manage library resources and support academic research.
- The Mental Health Counsellor will provide psychological support and counselling services to students and staff as the need arises.
- The Director of KLETech School of Legal Studies, Hubballi will oversee academic and administrative functions, ensuring the institution’s strategic goals are met. Each role demands a commitment to excellence in education, research, and student development.
Eligibility Criteria for Each Role
Director – KLETech School of Legal Studies, Hubballi [Eligibility (A or B)]
A
- An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant domain, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the SCOPUS indexed, UGC-listed or peer-reviewed journals.
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
- Administrative experience in any recognized Centre of Legal Education for a minimum of 10 years.
B
- An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in relevant domain from any academic institution (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
Professor [Eligibility (A or B)]
A
- An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant domain, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the SCOPUS indexed, UGC-listed or peer-reviewed journals.
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
B
- An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in relevant domain from any academic institution (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
Associate Professor [Eligibility]
- A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in relevant domain.
- A master’s degree (Regular Mode) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the SCOPUS indexed, UGC-listed or peer-reviewed journals.
Assistant Professor [Eligibility (A or B)]
A
- A master’s degree in relevant domain with 55% marks (Regular Mode) (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited test (State Level Eligibility Test SLET/SET).
B
- The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking at any time by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Times Higher Education (THE) or the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
C
- Students in the final semester of master’s degree (Regular Mode) and candidates who are yet to appear for NET/ SLET may also apply.
Placement Officer [Eligibility]
- Master’s degree in management with Human Resource Management Specialization from a recognized University (Regular Mode).
- Experience of serving as a Placement Officer.
- Industry experience and exposure.
Assistant Librarian [Eligibility]
- Master’s degree in library science from a recognized University (Regular Mode).
- ·Proficiency in computer applications.
- Minimum five years of experience in a recognized institution.
- Willingness to work between 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on shift basis.
Mental Health Counsellor [Eligibility]
- Master’s degree in counselling or psychology from a recognized University (Regular Mode).
- ·Licensed as a Mental Health Counsellor.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum five years of experience of Clinical Counselling.
