Justice Sachdeva enrolled as an advocate on August 1, 1988 with the Bar Council of Delhi. He practiced before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, and the District Courts of Delhi. He became an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court in 1995.
He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on April 17, 2013 and became a permanent judge on March 18, 2015.
